Since 1986 the Naugatuck Arts Commission has sponsored free concerts on the town green. This series has always prided itself in its ability to deliver top notch musical entertainment for the entire family. The concert site, nestled in a turn-of-the-century architectural environment which features three historic structures designed by the internationally renowned firm of McKim, Mead and White, is an ideal place to spend a lazy summer evening. Early arrivals are encouraged to bring picnic baskets and blankets. However, in accordance with town ordinances, alcoholic beverages are not permitted. All of these Concerts are absolutely free to the public.
These concerts serve not only to bring wholesome family entertainment to downtown but as a means to help support the Naugatuck Ecumenical Food Bank and the Caesar Ruggeri Arts Scholarship Fund which we award to deserving Naugatuck High School students each spring. We ask that you bring a non-perishable food item to the concerts and we hope to count on your continued support when we pass the bucket to collect for our scholarship.
Come, and take in the charm of Naugatuck The series features a line up of wonderfully diverse musical acts that are sure to please one and all.
