Free Recital Series!

Naugatuck Arts Commission & The Howard Whittemore Library to Present Free Recital Series

The Naugatuck Arts Commission in a cooperative effort with the Howard Whittemore Library will be hosting a series of recitals featuring local talent. The series will feature performers of all ages and will serve as a venue for local musicians to shine.

The Howard Whittemore Memorial Library’s reading room is an intimate and acoustically pleasing setting that has often served as an ideal location to hear music and interact with the performers. Equipped with a baby grand piano the reading room has served as a location for various youth recitals and fundraising events.

Musical artists from the local area are encouraged to attend this recital and sign up for future recitals. Interested performers should call Lisa D’Andrea at 723-4823.

The free performance will begin at 7 P.M. and last approximately an hour. The Library is located at 243 Church Street Naugatuck, Ct.

Musicians Wanted!

The Naugatuck Arts Commission is looking for musical performers for a new Recital Series that they will begin producing in May. These hour long recitals will be held at the Howard Whittemore Library on Wednesday evenings. If you are a singer or instrumentalist, whether performing solo or with a small ensemble and would like an opportunity to perform for a live audience or if you are a music teacher who has students that need a venue, please call Lisa at 203-723-4823 for details.
